Programs in Candidacy

The following professional education program has successfully advanced to candidacy status. Candidacy for Accreditation is granted to programs that have satisfied eligibility requirements and show substantial compliance with the Commission’s accreditation standards and policies at a level that is reasonable for the program’s stage of development.

Advanced Ayurvedic Practitioner

AAC currently has 11 schools with a total of 24 programs in Candidacy for Accreditation. New Review Commissioner

We are delighted to welcome Maria D. Hall to our team of Review Commissioners. Maria is a NAMA-certified Ayurveda Practitioner. She practiced in California as a Certified Public Accountant for two and a half decades before beginning her education in Ayurvedic medicine. We look forward to the expertise and knowledge she brings to the Commission.

Council of Schools Meeting Series

AAC Council of Schools meetings are open to all candidate and accredited program representatives. Program representatives are invited to meet quarterly with members of the AAC leadership team to discuss the accreditation policies and processes, reflect on current curriculum requirements, and share feedback.
