For me, this time of year feels full of possibilities as graduations are taking place all over the country. Hundreds of thousands of individuals are embarking on new adventures and life paths. It seems especially fitting that our new name and logo have also been unveiled during this season of growth and transition. In our last newsletter, we announced our organization’s new name to align with our mission and goals. As you will see from this month’s newsletter and our rebranded website, our new logo is officially in use! In addition to our updated logo, our recognized and candidacy programs will be receiving their new AAC badges very soon. This service mark conveys their commitment to quality educational curricula and to upholding standards of the profession. You may have noted that our name change includes moving from a “council” of directors to a “commission” of directors. This was done with the intention to demonstrate our commitment to work with schools and programs and help them achieve their goal of accreditation. A commission implies a working group focused on achieving an outcome through collaboration and deliberation. We see this work as our crucial role as we elevate the emerging profession of Ayurveda in the United States.
