As 2025 comes to a close, we mark an important transition for the Ayurvedic Accreditation Commission. After more than four years of dedicated service, our Executive Director, Dr. Lisa Cavallaro, will be stepping down at the end of December. Lisa’s impact on the Commission cannot be overstated. From the early stages of building our infrastructure to the successful administration of our candidacy and site visit processes, she brought steady leadership, deep integrity, and an unwavering commitment to our mission. Her attention to detail and her ability to move complex projects forward with grace and clarity have been a cornerstone of the Commission’s success. One of Lisa’s greatest contributions has been her foresight in cultivating future leadership. Thanks to her thoughtful mentoring and guidance, our Assistant Director, Maeve Mangine, is well prepared to step into the Executive Director role in January. With three years of experience under Lisa’s wing, Maeve brings both continuity and a strong sense of purpose to the next chapter of our work. It has been one of the great pleasures of my professional life to work alongside Lisa over these past four years. I will always be grateful for the steady support and wise counsel she has offered to me personally and to the Commission as a whole. On behalf of the Board of Directors, Advisory Council, and all of our volunteers and member schools, we thank Lisa for her extraordinary service and wish her every happiness in the next phase of her life and career.
