Programs in Candidacy

The following professional education programs have successfully advanced to candidacy status. Candidacy for Accreditation is granted to programs that have satisfied eligibility requirements and show substantial compliance with the Commission’s accreditation standards and policies at a level that is reasonable for the program’s stage of development.

AAC currently has 14 schools with a total of 27 programs in Candidacy for Accreditation. Council of Schools Meeting Series
(NEXT MEETING IS MONDAY!)

AAC Council of Schools meetings are currently open to all candidate and accredited program representatives. Program representatives are invited to meet quarterly with members of the AAC leadership team to discuss the accreditation policies and processes, reflect on current curriculum requirements, and share feedback.

At our last meeting, we discussed the development of a formalized Consortium of Schools, and will continue this important conversation in future meetings.
